Dear friend of Oaken Barrel Brewing Co.,

Please vote Oaken Barrel as the Best Brewpub on the Indy Channel’s
(Channel 6) A-List!  We were nominated by the local fans and we were
chosen as the best brewpub in the city in 2011.  Repeating as the best
brewpub in the city would be nice!  There are only 15 days left in the
voting and the web link is www.theindyalist.cityvoter.com.

We like to thank Trace Pulley of and Will Smiley of Allen Construction for
the remodel of the men’s restroom.  They worked late nights for 3 weeks
after the restaurant was closed  to complete the job.  Restroom looks
great, and they will tackle the women’s restroom in few month.

We have a brand new seasonal beer on tap!  It is an American Brown Ale. 
Unlike the traditional English Brown Ale, the American Brown Ale has less
malty taste with hoppier finish.  It is first time we brewed this beer and
it is getting rave reviews from regular customers.
