It has been 18 years since Oaken Barrel opened it doors in 1994.  With
support of family, friends, and regular customers who have become friends
over the years, Oaken Barrel remains one of favorite spot for many south
side residence.  We were even voted the number one brewpub by viewers of
Channel 6.  Your patronage helps support over 50 Oaken Barrel employees

Oaken Barrel will be celebrating 18 year anniversary with our annual Pork
of July party.  On Wednesday, July 4th, Oaken Barrel will be open from
noon to 5 P.M., and we will feature our annual Pork of July Buffet. 
Buffet includes, pork, chicken teriyaki, bratwurst, macaroni and cheese,
baked beans, potato salad, corn on cob, apple cobbler, and fresh
watermelon.  Cost is only $10 and we will only serve from the buffet.
